January, 14, 2018 - The book Contested Childhoods: Growing Up In Migrancy : Migration, Governance, Identities, with a chapter by Andrea Svobodová and Eva Janská, was selected by Choice magazine as an "Outstanding Academic Title" for the year 2017. The book focuses on specific processes of migration, governance and identity and it includes children and the diea of childhood. The chapter by Andrea Svobodová and Eva Janská, Identity Development Among Young of Vienamese Descent in the Czech Republic, deals with the identity of second generation Vietnamese in Czechia and it shows the ways they are creating their own identity.
